Yellowstone Mining is a locally owned inert landfill and mining company which operates in the southernmost parcel of the once active Paga Mines. Yellowstone began operations in 2009 and today, we are a convenient location to bring your tree debris, rocks, dirt, mud, concrete, and asphalt. We are a "green" landfill as we do not accept any material which causes pollution. How "green" are we?

We are one of the largest recyclers in Bartow County, turning waste into topsoil, top dressing sand and infield mix. If you play softball or baseball in Bartow County you've played on Yellowstone's recycled infield mix. These recyclables also describe the extent of our mining activity. As a borrow pit, Yellowstone simply sells the once unwanted sands and virgin dirt left behind by others. Through our practice of filling mining holes with clean debris and sand recycling, Yellowstone helps keep Bartow beautiful and sustainable for years to come!
